A Better Way to Start Your Garden.

If you’ve ever spent an afternoon hunching over garden beds, using a stick or your finger to poke hundreds of holes, you know the "planting ache." Traditional garden dibbers are often just pointed pegs that require awkward gripping and provide zero guidance for depth or seed placement. This repetitive motion leads to hand fatigue and uneven growth across your rows.

The Seed & Slide™: Precision Planting in One Motion. Whether you're managing a backyard raised bed or a larger market garden, the Seed & Slide™ is designed to take the friction out of the most critical step in growing. We’ve combined industrial-grade materials with human-centric ergonomics to create a tool that works with your hand, not against it.

Designed for Your Hands and Your Soil.

Most garden tools are made of cheap plastic or heavy wood that fails in difficult terrain. We chose a high-performance blend of weather-resistant ASA and structural Carbon Fiber ASA. This allows the tool to punch through compact clay, rocky soil, or wet mud without snapping, all while remaining lightweight and chemically resistant to fertilizers and UV rays.

Key Features

  • Ergonomic "Thumb-Rest" Grip: Sculpted to fit naturally in the palm of one hand. The integrated thumb notches provide the leverage needed for tough soil while maintaining a strain-free position.

  • The Integrated Seed Ramp: Our signature "Notch & Slide" design allows you to drop seeds directly into the tool's opening while it's still in the soil. The seed glides down the ramp and lands exactly where it belongs—no more fumbling with tiny seeds in the wind. Reinforced with carbon fiber to handle compact, sandy, or wet soil types that would bend or break standard tools.

  • Visible Depth Markers: Stop the guesswork. Permanent markers at 1/4", 3/4", and 1.25" ensure your seeds are planted at the optimal depth for every variety, from delicate lettuce to hearty beans.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • Once you press the Seed & Slide into the soil to your desired depth, you simply drop the seed into the top notch. The internal ramp directs the seed into the opening in the soil. As you lift the tool, the seed is deposited perfectly at the bottom of the hole.

  • Yes. The tool was designed specifically for one-handed use with a focus on ergonomics. The palm-filling shape and thumb-rest notches allow you to use your body weight and larger muscle groups to press into the soil, rather than relying solely on finger or wrist strength.

  • Absolutely. The Carbon Fiber ASA construction provides the structural rigidity of metal with the lightweight benefit of high-end polymers, making it capable of penetrating difficult soils that typical plastic dibbers cannot handle.

  • The ASA material is chemically resistant. Simply rinse it with a garden hose or wipe it down with a damp cloth. It will not rot like wood or rust like metal.
